To our valued customers,
We fully understand the challenges and fears that this pandemic has created for our business, our employees, and our clients in the work zones. At Elite Paving, ensuring our people’s health and safety is at the core of our operations. You can rest assured knowing that we conform to the BC Centre for Disease Control (CDC) and strictly enforce all the guidelines issued by Health Canada and the World Health Organization. We are doing our very best to make our every interaction with our customers completely risk-free. To this end, we have instituted a number of measures, including:
- Our estimators and staff undergo a health check daily to identify if they have any flu-like symptoms (dry cough, fever, headache, etc.).
- Completing the home quarantine period of 14 days is mandatory for anyone returning from a foreign country, a risk zone, or who have had a close interaction with a person diagnosed with the coronavirus.
- We are avoiding all physical interactions when providing project estimates. Our estimator will survey the site without any face-to-face interaction with the customer, and you will receive the quote via email. In case you have any questions or requests, you can always connect with our representative over the phone.
- Before starting any job, both our crew and the customer must undergo and pass our health check process. In-person interactions are constrained to abide by
social distancing norms, keeping a distance of at least 6 feet. All are required to wear face masks when on the site.
We have also invested in our employees’ rigorous education and training to safely operate and complete projects while complying with the prescribed health and safety requirements. Our employees take all necessary precautions and carefully disinfect high-touch surfaces, both on the job site and our own machinery and tools. Our workers will frequently be washing their hands, especially after coughing or sneezing.
To ensure a safe working environment for our employees, we will also be contacting our customers to rule out any safety or health concerns. If the customer has recently travelled to another country/a high-risk zone or has come in contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, we will require the customer to reschedule the service after completing the self-quarantine period of 14 days. We will also request the customer to reschedule if any member of the family is showing flu-like symptoms.
Have questions about our safety protocols or any of the above practices? Do not hesitate to contact our team for any enquiries at 604-593-3900 or write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org . We are always happy to be of service to you.
Wishing you best of health,
